A melodramatic retelling of Burke & Hare's tale, that shows no signs of any original research, and through its several errors indicates an over-reliance on sources that have since been shown to be inaccurate. Fine, as the broadest possible overview, but of no practical use for anybody with a genuine interest in the subject.

Concise little historyA quick little read and insight into this story. Alanna Knight's work is well researched and beautifully woven. Well worth the read

Mostly very well told, although it occasionally drifts into melodrama. For example, they didn't kill 2 children; they killed "a young boy and a beautiful girl."
