see full review @ Katie's CornerHi, everyone and welcome back to Katie’s Corner! I’m having a very weird but nevertheless very fun story. I believe this is one of the first works by Hino Matsuri. However, everyone knows her best for Vampire Knight. You can read the review on my blog! But let me get back to the story. As I have already mentioned this story is plain weird, fast paced, actually very fast paced and quite fun. Imagine that a weird 7-year-old appeared from your mirror. Well, becaus [...]

Okay, so in hindsight Aram isn't actually as young as I thought. I guess it's just the way he's drawn. That settled me a little. It was also nice to have a happy ending but I think it happened too soon and it was slightly too sappy for me. Everything was so neatly done, it was slightly dissatisfying. And the little extra storyline at the end could've been expanded more, it would have added to the plot, maybe even resulted in another volume. Ah well.

3 Stars.A really wonderful conclusion and series overall! I really love Matsuri Hino's artistic style (which is just gorgeous!!!!) and the story was so cute :D Magic, romance and drama! Can't wait to re-read soon.

The end of Merupuri and certainly was the expected outcome, but still, it was an excellent end to a short but sweet manga series. Though the first volume left some bad impressions, the author managged to redeem herself in the end. The art and the fashion of Aram's world was also exquisite.

***Spoiler Alert*** There's gonna be some spoilerage throughout this review so I'm just letting you all know now! ***End alert, but not necessarily the spoiling*** (Also I LOVE happy endings, and this book is suppose to be the final one in the series and it has one! So I am very happy about that)So even though he doesn't remember who she is, Aram still goes to rescue Airi from The Deserted house. Jeile, in keeping with his noble streak, is right by his side. Of course true love conquers all!! (y [...]

The age thing is a real issue in this one. I don't care how fast someone ages, the kid thing is just freaking weird. How is no one else finds this creepy?

Airi Hoshino is a romantic. Not only is it her goal to marry the man of her dreams, she truly believes that if she arrives at school for, on time, for two years, the magic mirror she inherited will grant her wish to marry her true love. When not watching romantic dramas, Airi dreams about her prince and vows to keep her first kiss just for him. However, all of that changes when Aram emerges from her mirror. Aram is a prince from a magical kingdom who was thrust into the mirror by his faithful se [...]

I love this series! It's signature Hino (Vampire Knight) for its art and detail and inking. It's a shorter, sweeter story than Vampire Knight. There are no real villains here, but plenty of conflict of a simple girl trying to marry into a princely family. There are absolutely no love triangles to speak of, which is refreshing in a manga. It's not the best character lineup, and real villain would have made things interesting, but the romance is awesome--the pinnacle of this series. If you don't m [...]

I'm a little sad that this series is over, tbh. I love Airi, a female lead who actually grows over the course of the series. I love Aram, who truly becomes a prince. I love the minor characters, like Jeile, who are given plenty of panel space to develop their own storylines and personalities. This is a fun, romantic shojo manga that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the genre. It's a quick read - I appreciated that there weren't so many volumes that it felt like a chore to collect them all. [...]

Overall Series Rating 2 StarsThere is a wrongness to MeruPeri – Aram might “grow” due to his brother’s messed up spell but he’s still a little kid (he’s 7!) so after the first volume when Airi starts falling in like/love this starts getting uncomfortable.Airi is 15 and Aram’s grown-up body is 17 and if he actually was 17 this would all be cheesy and cute. The fairy-tale aspect of a prince, a magical world and nice artwork but ARAM IS A KID! And I can’t get past that.I’m awardin [...]

My favorite part was the ending to the final volume because Airi gets her happily ever after; Airi continues her magic training as a witch and Aram is finally able to obtain his 17 year old body instead of the frame of a little boy. She and Aram get ready for their wedding vows and as a joke, Jeile puts a spell on Aram to transform into a little boy again. I really liked the four volumes because after all the conflicts and the hardship the two had to face, they stuck together and what was imposs [...]

Chapters 17-21 + Final Chapter and secret stories.I loved this series and am so sad to see it end in 4 volumes! I could have went with more complicated and intricate plot. I thought it fascinating Raz was motivated by the Queen Mother and a promise she made him. Also its odd Lei is so in love with the Queen Mother too! And why does she laugh like that so much?!I loved the final chapter - some of my favorite of all the art! I love how she exploded that box open. And loved the advancement of the c [...]

This volume was just really slow and bitty which is not good for the final installment! I felt that the mangaka was trying to fit too much in, and so it was ultimately underwhelming. Also, it was also not explained whether Hoshina aged at the same rate as Aram, because within 2 1/2 years he is now 17, and she doesn't seem to age :S I think this whole story would have been a lot better if Aram was originally 17, and the spell made him a child, rather than a child becoming a 17 year old. This woul [...]

Podem ler a opinião completa no Nekko-Mimi.This last volume was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe the problem was I waited too long between the third and this last fourth volume, but even though I still ,loved the art and the characters, the story just didn't work for me.The ending, though, was exactly as expected, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

A Fairy Tale Prince (the title in english)A funny manga from MArsuri HinoA prince who gets cursed by his own brother >_<Poor him, his brother couldn't released him from the cursed until his 17th birthday is manga tell us that age doesn't matter for love (especially for airy(16th) and Aram(8th)*_*[image error]Big Aram , Airi, Little Aram

This is a far as I get in this series so this rating is 4 the whole series.Such a lovely story, fell in love from the beginning to the end of the male character and his older brother. The story was fresh 'cause I haven't read nothing like that so far; but come on ! I really expect that age difference isn't so big, 'cause at the end well, that could be rrr. And such a lovely and beautiful drawings with so many details as always!

I really enjoyed the first three volumes but this last one felt a bit jumpy/rushed with the whole Airi needing to be trained in magic bit. I feel this one should have been more about them finally getting together and then perhaps a 5th volume about what all happens next - including training. Or vise versa. Overall I liked the series and can appreciate that the author didn't feel the need to make a slew of volumes simply to make money (even if I would have enjoyed reading a few more!).

this really was a fast read, plus the plot moved along rather quickly. it could have used another book to wrap things up perfectly, but i'm satsified with how things developed. it was really cute and lots of mental fluff-ness, but that seems to be what i'm into these days. plus, the artistic stylings are much like magical jxr.

Ini buku terakhir dr MerupuriSecara keseluruhan, buku ini sangat2 menghibur^^Walo ceritanya rada2 ngaco HahahaEndingnya jg good,dg happy ending Cuman jd penasaran sama nasib Razu selanjutnya di dunia manusia trus jg si Nakaouji (klo gak salah nama^^) Masa di sini dia diceritakan sbg Sorcerer di akhir2?

Great final volume! The ending was a tad confusing with how it jumped to the extras but after a few minutes I got it and enjoyed it immensely! Some surprising plot and character revelations made this volume a quick and exciting read and the happy ending left me smiling. :) definitely a series to reread. I loved it and definitely recommend it.

Oh God ^^ I so love the ending, But little confuse, How can Aram in 17yo and Airi in 20yo? Yeah, may be I am wrong but, sure, I always look forward to see aram. ^^ He is cute in 7yo and still cute on 17yo, and Jeille, gives a special present for them ^^ and, it really special. :D

Nice ending to this short manga series. I wish there was more to it. But at the same time this was a good ending. I would have liked to read more about her magic studies and also find out more about her ancestors past and who she ran off with. But overall great series!

disappointing final volume. the really important problem was wrapped up in volume 3, so volume 4 was just denouement. aram's mother tells airi she has to find her ancestor's ring, but it only takes a couple of pages. mostly boring. lovely artwork as usual.
