Excellent book! This book is written in the way I think. There is the actual story then in italics what Tom Grafton is thinking. This is so well written you begin to feel you are actually Tom Grafton. The name of this book did not draw me in, but the brief description did encourage me to try and win this book from . I was glad I won this book and the description was spot on. This book is based in Australia, which made it all the more interesting. It is about an Australian vet who ends up back at [...]

What an entertaining novel! The author has a pleasing writing style, and once the plot gets going it's hard to put it down, especially during the exciting climax. (The hunting sequences reminded me of John Buchan's classic "John Macnab".) There's plenty of interesting material to think about, too, concerning the meaning of life, the building of cities, and humanity's place in the environment. The romance angle could have been emphasised more (which would appeal to fans of Dee Henderson), but hop [...]

I received this book as a giveaway. I was a bit perplexed by this book as it almost felt as if it were written by two different people. The first half was slower and by comparison, more basic. First Thank you for the free book :)I really liked this book and am anxious to read your next book. This book is quite different than what I normally read but it was excellent ! Five stars to this author :)

Just finished the newly revised edition of Tom Grafton Vs. The Environmentalists (released just a few days ago). While this book contains great action scenes (from the beginning Iraq scene to the final showdown in the Australian National Alpine park), and a beautiful romance (she needs him, he needs her, but it is their shared belief in helping others that keeps them apart!), it is the values and dissection of ideology which makes this book stand out. Views that are being spouted as unavoidable t [...]

I received this book on a Giveaway and I have to say I'm really pleased I did! I was a little put off by the title of the book and after reading the blurb on the back after the book had arrived, a part of me instantly decided I probably wouldn't like the story after all. How wrong could I have been! This is an excellent first novel, the story is light and the book easy to read, which was perfect for my long commutes to work. By the end of the book I found myself really liking Tom and wondering [...]
