If you like to gossip or get really invovled in someone else gossiping then this is the book for you. Sherry Siska takes off on a gallop and quickly cranks her storytelling up to a run with true enthusiasm, excellent character description and exciting plot scenarios. She grips her readers from the get go and draws them into becoming the nosy neighbor who cannot resist ease-droping. It is a murder that meets desperate housewives which meets the amateur detective. I so enjoyed this book. It is fas [...]

Thanks to and Sherry Siska for my copy of The Madams of Mischief.Who knew reading about murder could be so much fun. Wonderfully written plot, and characters you will truly enjoy. Looking forward to reading more of her work.

Sit back and get ready to enjoy this laugh-a-minute cozy mystery. Join Marti, her sister Charli and a host of unforgettable characters as you try to solve this one. Great read!

Good for a laughIf you like Stephanie Plum, you will like Marty Sheffield and the gang. Laugh out loud funny. Likable characters who get themselves in ridiculous situations.

EntertainingKept me interested. Amusing, also kept me guessing who done it to the end of the story. Got me interested in the characters

Fun Read. Do you like comedy with your mystery? If so, this book is for you. Marty gets herself into the worst situations. She also proves the axiom that no good deed goes unpunished. While babysitting her sisters monsters--er, children--she finds a dead body. Suspects abound. Seems the victim wasn't exactly loved by all. I'll be looking for more stories by the talented Sherry M. Siska.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I personally thought the title didn't do it any justice at all. The book has lots of humor, a lot of suspense as well and even a tad bit of romance. Sherry Siska did an exceptional job of keeping the reader guessing all the way to the very end. There was one part toward the end of the book that I was a little confused as to how it all worked together but was only confused momentarily because it cleared it right up in the next chapter. Overall it was a pretty g [...]

This is a great first effort from the author, who pulled me in with a protagonist I immediately wanted to root for and kept me intrigued with fast-paced action and humor. The characters were fully drawn and the various relationships felt real. I was reminded of Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse novels, minus the vampires and werewolves. I will definitely be picking up the next book in the series.

Book 1 of 3 in the series "Doom Divas". Sherry M. Siska is the cousin of our Freddy Marshall. Freddy was formerly Mayor of Lockesburg, AR and friend of the library. Sherry's books have done very well I understand in ebook sales. "Madams of Mischief" is a well thought out and cleverly paced mystery. The characters are well developed. You just can't help relating to them. Poor Marty, "if it's not one thing then it's your mother."

This is a wild tale of Marty Sheffield. Destiny, Lady Luck, and Fate -- the Madams of Mishief -- seem to have many surprises in store for Marty! When Marty makes a discovery that could incriminate her, Marty must race to clear her good name! Will she suffer a bad rap or return to a quiet life? The ending is unexpected, and this book is very much recommended to all readers!

Just finished this lightly suspenseful mystery; questions rose all through the story: who is the murder culprit? The entertaining author, Sherry Siska, provided me with a chuckle, practically on every page. Main character, Marty, sure knows how to get herself out of a jam, or should I say, a lot of jams! On to the sequel, book 2!

A very funny story with a good mystery to boot. The characters were authentic, and I enjoyed the relationship between Marti, her sister, Charli, and their mother. The situations were silly and yet believable. Highly recommended for fans of madcap mysteries.

Won this here on . Janet Evanovich watch out - Sherry M. Siska is here. Loved the first book, headed to number 2. Mystery, humor, romance - what more could you ask for. Loved it.

This was a super fast read although it was more than 600 pages. Not my favorite book. I kept reading it because there was no way to tell who committed the crime. There are more books in the series, but I doubt I will ready another one. The characters were shallow and the writing was too simple for me. I like books with more wit.

Fun readingSo in all honesty I wasn't expecting much, but it was free and sounded cute. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are enjoyable. The plot kept me intrigued. The writing was smooth. I recommend it and will read the next one in the series.

The Madams of MischiefIf you're looking for an easy read, if you're looking for funny, if you're looking to pass an entertaining afternoon, this book is for you. The characters are flawed, funny, and fine companyb

Loved ItFirst book that I have read of Sherry Siska and it is real good. I am going to buy the next one and hope it's just as good. This will probably be better than the Stephanie Plum series.

Goodthese sisters who were so close became part of a murder seen and how there friend's another so much friends .

This book was a hoot! It's filled with zingers, one liners, and innuendos! It's also filled with sisters working each other's nerves. A mother working her daughter's nerves and all out craziness! And, all in the middle of this is the murder of a guy that wasn't well liked. Very worthwhile book.

SPOILER ALERT:I won this and the other two books in the trilogy in a first-reads giveaway. I'm not usually a big fan of mysteries, but this book had a good balance of mystery intertwined with character relationships that made it a fun read. It also came with some good twists and ended naturally. By that I mean, it didn't end abruptly or rushed like some mysteries do. I was sad to see Zach go as I was routing for Marty and Zach to stay together. It seemed like the chemistry was right. It will be [...]

Sherry has written 3 books in her Divas of Doom series. The setting is fun and almost takes you on vacation. These books are fun mysteries, full of interesting characters-characters you'll swear you've met before.

Fun, light lively. This was a fun quick read. I enjoyed the heroine. If you like Janet Evonavitch give this book a go!
