This small town story worked quite well, especially with the attitude many town members had toward Logan. Carrie's passion for her students was believable, but not the reactions of her colleagues and principal.

Finished readig. More of a romance than the thriller I had hoped for along with hints of Christian tones. It was okay but not all that satisfying. Happy for the fictional couples happy ending tho. lol

Murder at Granite Falls by Roxanne Rustand was an OK story. Sort of a cozy murder mystery with the focus of the story not on the detective but on the potential murderer. However, I found the sloppy copy editing a bit annoying, especially with references to time and dates. The worse bit was where several scenes are clearly presented in the wrong order. In the novel, these were round where Carrie is put on unpaid leave. Monday morning happens twice in two different scenes back to back. And, there i [...]

Teaching elementary kids crafts during the summer months, then a full time position in the fall-which she hopes to move to the town. She thinks her ex husband, who she's got a restraining order against, is following her.Logan Bradley runs the store during the daylight hours.Logan was recuperating from an accident when bronco riding at t [...]

This is just one book in the 'Big Sky Secrets' series. "End Game," also by Roxanne Rustand in this same series was filled with the perfect mix of romantic intrigue, suspicion & suspense - this book was no exception. Main character Carrie moves to the supposedly peaceful & scenic area of Granite Falls after a painful divorce from her husband. She rents an apartment in the hiking/rafting area, it is a beautiful area with sky and trees as far as the eye can see. However, this beautiful area [...]

Murder at Granite FallsI received this book via , and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was grabbed from the very first page, and spent an indulgent weekend sitting in the garden reading it right through. It is one of those books you can't put down. It zips along at a lively pace, which is sustained to the very end.The characters are all believable, and I so wanted things to work out for Carrie and Logan. My heart bled for poor Noah.As for the murderer, I can't in all honesty say I guessed his/her iden [...]

The suspense made it hard to put down. I stayed up for the majority of the night to find out what was going to happen between Carrie and Logan. You're supposed to be able to trust law enforcement, but in this instance, even they laid the blame at Logan's feet due to lack of other suspects. Granite Falls sounds like a typical small town where rumors run rampant. I particularly did not like the principal who just needs to retire. Carrie was really concerned about her students and that man shot dow [...]

MURDER AT GRANITE FALLS - BIG SKY COUNTRY #4 - (Logan and Garrie)"Just let it go"Everyone in Granite Falls tells Carrie Randall the same thing. Is it a threat, or a warning? Yet even if it endangers her fresh start, Carrie needs to know what secret the town's hiding. There's her troubled student and his disturbing drawings. His fiercely protective father, and the mysterious death of his mother. And Carrie definitely has to find out more about the bad reputation of her standoffish new landlord, L [...]

Carrie Randall is running from her past and hoping for a better life at Granite Falls. The town is hiding a big secret, and her landlord Logan Bradley has a bad reputation and she is afraid to trust him. Blah, blah, etcc.As usual, these Love Inspired suspense novels are well written, but lack the real depth and thrills of a mainstream suspense novel. I've read a better suspense novel from another Christian writer and wonder why LI continues to put out these books. When it comes to suspense I'll [...]

An interesting read. The story skipped in some places but it kept me reading. There were places where I had to turn back to see if I missed something. Just to find out the author jumped scenes without any explanation. This is an inspirational romance so no sex or explicit language. I really liked that about it. A few parts required a bit of imagination. It just seemed like the author had to make things go a certain way but some of it was a bit unbelievable. I would recommend this to someone who [...]

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time, I didn't have a clue as to who was the bad guy. Most books you can start guessing, this one had me going right up until the end. This is a must read. This book in the 4th in the series of Big Sky Secrets by Roxanne Rustand. The first three are Final Exposure, Fatal Burn and End Game. After reading Murder at Grante Falls, I want to read the others in this series. Also her other one called Snow Canyon Ranch. If you do not read another book t [...]

Carrie found a job during the summer at a school in Granite Falls. Her ex-husband was following her but was shot to death and it was with her gun! One of her summer school students kept giving her "gruesome" drawings-could he have been a witness to his mother's death and also the ex's? Did these drawings mean anything? Could Carrie, her friend Penny, and her brother Logan solve the murders that the local law enforcement agency couldn't do? This was a quick and easy read!

EXCELLENT writing. Good story and developed characters. Keeps you guessing. I was impressed by this writer! This was the first that I had read of her works. A Young teacher who made a terrible mistake in the choice of her husband. His true ugliness comes out too late and causes her to be afraid of him and what he might do to her or relatives. She divorces and moves away but he pursues herad the rest and see how vicious some people can be to a divorced mate!

You are supposed to trust Law enforcment but perhaps you shouldn't in Granite falls, not one who feeds Small Town Rumors that lead an innocent man to be persecuted as if he is guilty of a heinous murder. Why would an officer go so far to make an innocent man look guilty? What dark secrets were being hidden?

As usual, the person who "done it" is the last person you would expect. However, I was thoroughly disappointed in the lack of character development of the killer, it all felt kind of jumbled in there at the end. While I started out really enjoying the book, the ending left me feeling like I was shorted.

Carrie Randall has moved to Granite Falls to teach and escape an ex-husband who keeps violating an Order of Protection. Has she gotten herself in more trouble when she hears of the bad reputation of her new landlord or does she believe that he is not capable of the murder that the town believes he committed?

As with all of Roxanne Rustand's books, I loved Murder at Granite Falls. It is another great story. Can't wait for the next one.

This small town story worked quite well, especially with the attitude many town members had toward Logan. Carrie's passion for her students was believable, but not the reactions of her colleagues and principal.

A lot of suspenset much romance. There wasn't enough "evidence" for me to believe that Logan and Carrie fell in love.

This one was actually really interesting, and a murder/mystery book that I didn't get who actually did it till the end.

I thought this one strayed a little from the usual Love Inspired series. Nice book, though, even with the typos.

This is a good read as Carrie Randall finds herself in trouble in this inspirational suspense book.
